At Inna Care, every small victory matters—especially when it involves restoring confidence and dignity to those we support. Today, we’re proud to share a special moment in Vera’s journey.
Vera, a warm-hearted and resilient lady, recently faced a personal challenge: the fear of being hoisted and transferred. Understandably, this process can feel daunting for someone with limited mobility and recent health concerns. But with the skilled support and gentle encouragement of Janett and Ayshwarya—two of our dedicated carers—Vera was safely and comfortably hoisted from her bed into her armchair.
What makes this moment even more heartwarming is what happened next.
Vera had just finished her dinner and, rather than feeling anxious, she sat in her armchair with a calm sense of contentment. Her face softened into a peaceful smile as she cuddled her favourite teddy. And right beside her, a loyal furry companion added even more warmth to the room.
This is what person-centred care looks like—compassion, patience, and trust working hand in hand. We’re so proud of Janett and Ayshwarya for going above and beyond, making sure Vera not only felt safe but truly enjoyed the rest of her evening.
Every step forward is a win. And today, Vera reminded us all of the strength that lives inside every smile.
